Day 01: Cochin: You will be welcomed at Kochi international airport and transferred to your hotel to check in. Spend the day at Kochi, one of the finest natural harbors and the oldest European settlement in India. The cultural mosaic here is shaped by a long history of visitors – Arab, Chinese, British, Jewish, Portuguese and French – making for a remarkable Heritage city. Best of Kerala Tour

Evening enjoy a 17th century art form i.e. Kathakali Dance at one of the popular cultural centers in Fort Kochi. Kathakali is an ancient classical dance form of Kerala. It is a combination of drama, dance, music and ritual. Watch the extensive make-up process and then enjoy a story telling in Kerala style in the performance. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 02: Kochi: Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kochi/Cochin exploring the heritage sites of Fort Kochi. You can shop for antiques and spices.

You can start your tour of Fort Cochin from the St. Francis Church- the oldest church in India and explore the imposing Santa Cruz basilica built by the Portuguese. It will be fun to observe the iconic and still-in-use Chinese fishing nets and even try using them yourself. Stroll past the shops along Jew Street shopping for antiques & spices and also visit the Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch Palace. You will notice that the heritage zone of the city is amazingly well preserved. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03: Munnar: Breakfast at the Hotel. Today head to the dramatic Munnar hills, a place that will forever keep you under its spell. In this former hill gateway of Colonial British, soak up the tranquility and head out to the verdant tea plantations to taste the local brew.

The drive up the hills; beautiful waterfalls and tea gardens along the way. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 04: Munnar: Breakfast in the resort/Hotel. Visit Eravikulam National park (Rajamala National Park), it is home to Nilgiri Tahr(endangered mountain goat). Visit Mattupetty Reservoir that offers ample boating facilities. Then visit Echo point, It offers an enchanting view of the surrounding green hills. Then visit Kundala dam. Overnight stay at Resort /Hotel.

Day 05: Munnar – Thekkady (110 km/3.5 Hrs): Breakfast in the resort /Hotel. Check out from the hotel and start the journey to Thekkady drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and frequent view of waterfalls and streams. After lunch visit spice plantation of cardamom, pepper, coffee, vanilla and tea plantation etc. On the way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at the resort/Hotel.

Day 06: Thekkady: Breakfast in the resort /Hotel. Today you can visit the sightseeing points in an around Thekkady which includes boating in Periyar Lake (Periyar wildlife sanctuary ). Periyar wildlife sanctuary, one of the well known wildlife sanctuaries in south India. Then embark on a series of exciting activities to live up your trip – like soft trekking, Elephant safari and Kalari payattu Show (Martial art form of Kerala).Overnight at the resort/Hotel .

Day 07: Thekkady –Alleppey (145 Km /3 Hrs ): Breakfast in the resort /Hotel. Check out from the resort and proceed to Alleppey back waters. On arrival check in to the beautiful back water resort. Afternoon you can do boating, fishing and sunset cruise in the evening (Optional). Visit Alleppey beach in the evening. If you are looking for an idyllic retreat amidst the emerald green waters, palm fringed shores and lush acres of greenery then Kerala Backwaters is the ideal destination for you. Day 08: Alleppey (Houseboat cruise):Breakfast in the resort/Hotel. At 12.00 hrs you will checkout and will be transferred to boat jetty point to embark in your air-conditioned house boat of Kerala Style. Cruise through the back waters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. You will have the lunch, snacks & dinner at house boat. Stay overnight at your luxury houseboat.

Day 09: Kovalam (160 km/4 Hrs): After breakfast disembark from your houseboat and proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam is a beach town on the Arabian Sea in Kerala. Kovalam has three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky outcroppings. The shallow waters stretching for hundreds of metres are ideal for swimming. Rest of the day at leisure at Kovalam Beach .Overnight at the resort/Hotel.

Day 10: Kovalam: Breakfast in the resort/Hotel. Drive off to Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) to see the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, and Sri Padmanabha Temple. Thrilling boat ride through the Poovar creek pawing to the Poovar estuary in late afternoon. Overnight at the resort/Hotel.

Day 11: Departure (15 km/ 30 Min to the airport):Morning after breakfast at appropriate time you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport to board your flight back home. Tour ends.
